Established 1973 in Rockford, Illinois as an Air Freight Trucking Company, handling freight between O'Hare Airport and Rockford.  Todd Transit has grown in services offered as well as territory serviced. Todd added LCL/FCL Ocean, Ground, 48 State Expedited and Warehousing to its service menu. It now serves the Chicagoland area West through Rockford to the Mississippi River, Milwaukee, Madison  and North to Appleton in Wisconsin. Todd operates Terminals in the Rockford (RFD), Chicago (ORD & MDW) and Milwaukee (MKE) Markets as well as a Warehouse operation in Rockford. We are an asset based carrier, operating 55 pieces of equipment including cars, cargo vans, 16' cube trucks, 26' Straight Trucks and 48' - 53' Tractor Trailers. All drivers are uniformed company employees, with Haz Mat and TSA Certifications. Todd Transit is a US Customs Bonded Carrier, and its Warehouse operates a CES and GO Warehouse for US Customs. We are extremely proud of our low 10 year claims ratio which shatters the industry average.
