Rick Gilbert was appointed to the ECA Board at the 2006 Marketplace. Rick is President of 24/7 Express Logistics, Inc. located in North Kansas City, MO. Rick started in the business as a courier in Dallas in 1988. Rick and his wife, Christine Gilbert formed Rush Delivery in 1993 and later sold to Dynamex in 1998. Rick and Christine then founded 24/7 Express Logistics in June 2001 with the intention of getting more involved with the freight side of the business. 24/7 has since grown into a full service Transportation & Logistics company serving 6 states in the Midwest. Rick had a very successful experience at his first ECA Marketplace in 2005. He loves the concept of the shipper-carrier meetings and vendor-carrier meetings and feels that serving on the board is a way to help promote the organization and its members.
